Key rules
Receiving and holding mail (overview)
Generally accepted (principle)
- We primarily accept document mail (e.g. registered / simplified registered letter mail).
- Some business letters and notices may be declined depending on size and volume.
Not accepted
- Cash on delivery (COD)
- Content-certified mail
- Other items likely to cause storage or handling issues—contact us if unsure
Retention period
The pickup deadline is one month after we receive the item.
After the deadline
Once postage and handling fees are paid, we forward to the address registered on your contract.
Why these rules
- On-site storage is limited, so we standardize what we accept and how long we hold it.
- These boundaries help us keep operations fair and reduce disputes.
